When Ability Counts. . .
Count on Rehabilitation Services

State Rehabilitation Council

Established in 1993 as mandated by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, the State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) advises Rehabilitation Services regarding performance in providing vocational rehabilitation services to Georgians with disabilities. An annual report to the governor is prepared and submitted each year regarding the activities, reviews, and advice provided to the Vocational Rehabilitation Program by the SRC. The Council works cooperatively with the Assistant Commissioner of Rehabilitation Services to assure that services provided by the agency meet the needs of consumers with disabilities.
