Vocational Rehabilitation Program Internships

The purpose of the VR Internship Program is to offer internships to students who are pursuing a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Students who are accepted into the program will work in one of Georgia’s VR offices. VR has more than 50 offices in 12 regions throughout the state, so opportunities exist to work in rural, urban or suburban settings.

To apply for a VR internship, you must submit the following:

  • State of Georgia Employment Application, and
  • Letter of Interest, noting any rehabilitation or rehabilitation-related experience(s); specifying a career goal after graduation; and indicating location preferences by region, city, or county.

The preferred method for receiving the internship application paperwork is via email to Brenson.Parks@dol.state.ga.us.

If you have questions or wish to receive further information, please contact Brenson Parks at (404) 235-0159.
